

Dan Thi Ho, age 99, passed away peacefully at her home on May 31, 2026.
Born in Que Son District, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ngo Ho and the late Luyen Nguyen. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Duy Chanh Ngo. After becoming a widow in 1989, she demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience as she continued to care for and support her family.
In 1992, she immigrated to the United States, where she was joyfully reunited with her children after more than a decade apart, having been separated since 1981. Rebuilding her life in a new country, she devoted herself to her family and treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Van Ngo (the late Tuan Dinh), Khoi Ngo and Hong Tran, Ngo Ngo and Cuc Tran, Anh Nguyen and Dai Nguyen, Tuan Ngo and Ly Tran, and Dung Ngo; her 10 grandchildren; her 15 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 South Dairy Ashford Road, Houston, Texas 77077, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Dan Thi Ho’s life was defined by perseverance, sacrifice, love, and devotion to her family. Her legacy will live on through the generations she nurtured and the countless lives she touched.
