Daniel Lee Buchanan

Went to be with our Lord in Heaven on Saturday, June 14, 2014 in Houston, TX. Dan was a native Houstonian and third generation Texan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Vivian, and by his brother, Steve. He was a decorated USMC Viet-Nam veteran. He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia, daughters Jennifer Lowenthal and Carly Warren, son Jeffery Warren, son-in-law Jeffrey Lowenthal, daughter-in-law, Jacquie Warren, and by grandsons, Ethan and Joshua, granddaughter Liliana, and by many others. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at American Heritage Funeral Home located at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas. His Funeral services will also be at American Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 12:15pm in the chapel with his interment taking place at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive in Houston, Texas at 1:45pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the USO, Wounded Warrior Project, Disabled American Veterans or Toys for Tots.
