Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dan lived a life filled with curiosity, dedication, and meaningful relationships. After completing his undergraduate studies, he began his career with Pan American Airways. While working there, he continued his education and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. He also obtained his real estate license, reflecting his lifelong commitment to learning and growing in his professional life.
In 1991, Dan met Roxi Blaze, beginning a special relationship that would span 35 wonderful years. Roxi became not only his partner, but the love of his life and his constant companion. Together, they shared a bond built on love, friendship, and the many experiences that make a life meaningful.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Mary Demaris, and his sister, Brenda Demaris. He is survived by Roxi and his sister, Elizabeth Demaris, along with the many people whose lives he touched throughout the years.
Dan’s life will be remembered not only for his accomplishments, but for the relationships he built and the love he shared with those closest to him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
