Daniel R. Garcia left this world on Monday April 5, 2021. Survived by his wife, Rebecca and his children, Victoria Garcia; Daniel Garcia; Gloria Montalvo (stepdaughter); his grandchildren, Gulissa Danielle Garcia, Joseph Ibarra, Xavier Ibarra, Bella Rae Cruz, and Angelica. Dan is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and Godchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Socorro Garcia, brother, Robert R. Garcia, and sister, Mollie Diaz (Joe †). Survived by sister, Hardie Lambert (Don †), and brothers, Tony (Lily) and Roger Garcia.

Daniel served our country in the US Army. He retired from Freeman Trade Show Services as a truck driver and member of Teamsters Local 988. He loved all sports, but was an avid Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboy fan.

We will remember Dan and forever hold him in our hearts and memories.

A visitation for Daniel will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A rosary will follow at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
