I have known Dan for 60+ years and a wonderful gentleman and friend!
We both got into Marlin Fishing in the Early 80’s and fished all over the Bahamas, Mexico, Central America together. Highlight of our Careers was in Oct 1986, when we won The Bisbee Black and Blue Marlin Tournament in Cabo San Lucas-‘—-Todd and Dan consented to fish on my boat Killer, with James and me.
Love to Rose//——God Bless you ///and Dan will be missed!!!!

The Harrison’s trips to Naples Florida in the late 70s left me with wonderful memories of boating in the Everglades with Dan and family members, swamp buggy races to stylish camping.
We will miss you Dan, ,

Hi Rosemary: I am reminded of the 6-week car trip Dan and I took throughout much of the west side of Mexico in 196? (1967 or 1968, I guess). In our final week we caught you and the Reynolds girls on the beach in Acapulco. Mr. Reynolds had rented a nice house on the beach. Dan and I stayed at the long gone Posada del Sol hotel not far from the house. PdS was Kosher, catering to Jewish tourists, so the food was reliably non-poisonous. By then the Chevy station wagon Dan’s dad let us borrow had somehow collided with one burro, three large buzzards, and some other stuff. I am sure you remember it well ;) Time passed and we drove north through Mexico City, Queretaro and Monterey to layover a day or two at Piloncillo to decompress and co-ordinate the stories we would tell our parents. FYI: Dan Jr.’s reaction to the battered Chevy wagon was a fit of laughter with the exclamation, “I can’t wait to hear the stories about THAT!” -- Jay Bute

Rosemary,
Very sorry to hear of Dan's passing. There are many memories of good times with the old gang from our younger years. As the years go by, life takes us along different paths, but the memories return at a time like this.
Here is hoping comfort for you and your family as you
go through this event.
