Daniel is survived by his spouse, Maria M. Ortiz; son Daniel Ortiz Jr; daughter Nicole Maria Ortiz; and son Matthew Daniel Ortiz; grandchild Savanna L. Ortiz and grandchild Daneille L. Ortiz.
Daniel was preceded in death by father David Ortiz and mother Dalila Ortiz.
A loving son, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather has been lost and will always be missed. He will be remembered by his ability to light up a room as he loved to make people laugh. His loved ones will reminisce on the time he would dress-up as Santa during Christmas. He was a very active person who enjoyed riding motorcycles and more specially, loved to barbeque.
A funeral service for Daniel will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church, 25 Tidwell Rd., Houston, TX 77022.
