Daniel Rodriguez, a beloved resident of Angleton, Texas, peacefully passed away on October 10th, 2023, at the age of 94. Born on December 1, 1928, in Monterrey, Mexico, Daniel was the cherished child of Iden Rodriguez and San Juanita Leal.
In 1954, destiny intertwined with love when Daniel crossed paths with Angelina on a city bus in Monterrey, Mexico. Their fateful meeting marked the beginning of a beautiful love story, culminating in their marriage in 1955. They embarked on a life together filled with joy and love, raising three children in Mexico before venturing to Houston, Texas, where they welcomed two more children into their loving home.
Upon arriving in Houston, Daniel began his journey at Monterey House Restaurant, but his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own successful butchery business. He became a trusted supplier of quality meat cuts to numerous restaurants in the Houston area, a testament to his unwavering work ethic and dedication to his family.
Daniel's passion extended beyond the butchery; he had a deep affinity for the livestock trade, dedicating time to buying and selling livestock, a pursuit he held dear. He used his talents and skills to provide for his family in every way possible.
As the years passed, the Rodriguez family grew, and Daniel's heart expanded with love for his ever-growing family. He was blessed with ten adoring grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherished deeply, enjoying every precious moment spent with them.
Daniel was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Maria Angelina Rodriguez.
