

Danny J. McBee born December 8, 1938 passed away February 16, 2010. Danny joined the United States Air Force in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1961; while remaining on active reserve until 1968 with Texas Air National Guard as an Electrical Technician. He was a Master Mason and member of the Lindale Lodge in August of 1962. Danny was awarded the “Outstanding Unit Award” in 1967 that was presented by the Secretary of Defense. After the Air Force he went to work for Texas Instrument Company in 1961 where there he was a Mechanical Technician. In 1968, he joined the Houston Police Department and served over 22 years tenure including: Radio Patrol, Vice Squad, Juvenile Investigations and Missing Persons. He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife, Patty McBee; mother, Rosie Schaeffer; sons: Travis McBee & wife Robin, Craig McBee & wife Sandra, Randy Hunawill & wife Gale; daughter, Leisa Lovy & husband Dr. Jordan; grandsons: Tony Sandretto, Joshua McBee, Jason Sieck, Chad Sieck, Ethan Lovy; granddaughters: Nicole McBee, Jaela McBee, Kristen Chersky, Shelby McBee; great grandson, RyLee McBee; sister, Janette Rawls & husband Randy; brothers: Sam Brocato, Sylvester Brocato & wife Loretta, Anthony Brocato; along with numerous friends.

The family will receive friends from 12-7PM on Saturday, February 20, 2010 and again starting at 9:30AM Sunday, February 21, 2010. Funeral services will be held following visitation on Sunday at 3PM. Both services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
