I am so sorry for your loss. I am so glad my life has been touched by Darrell. I met Darrell because he was recommended highly to use as a painter in Surfside. I loved anytime I saw Darrell and Jimmy working, because I got to visit with two of the nicest men. My prayer is for healing for those who love him dearly.

Lynette, Johnny, Kevin and all of Darrell’s loved ones; I’m so sorry to hear about Darrell’s illness and then passing.
Time has a way of just passing so quickly and I always think that I have plenty of time for good byes.
Not so; I thought that I would travel to Denver, bring some of our items back and then I would come over and see Darrell. It was not to be.

I wish that I had the magic words that would take the pain of your loss away but please just know that you are all in my thoughts and Prayers.

I've met many men and women in my career as a Law Enforcement Officer. Good, bad and down right evil from all walks of life. I've only met a few that were truly good honest people and Darrell was one of the good one's. I'm angry with myself for never going fishing or hunting with him. I can't count the times he has invited me. But, I could call him my friend. I was blessed to have met Darrell over 30 years ago when I issued him a ticket for speeding in his mustang. Hell of a way to meet. Been friends ever since.... You've worked hard all your life. Rest in peace friend.
