I have so many memories of you not one is more specific than the other , but I cherish all of them. We knew each other most of our lives, from our Godmothers house here in Texas, to Queens NY , Long Island NY, and we could talk about anything. I’m one of the few people that was privileged enough to experience your true self. There were no secrets between us. You were more than a Godbrother to me you were my Brother!! After not seeing you for so many years, you know it didn’t matter, because it didn’t change a thing. We picked up right where we left off. I Love you and It hurts me so bad to write these words!!! I still can’t believe that your gone. I should have called more, we should have had more lunch dates!!!! I never knew we didn’t have time!!!! I should have given you your flowers while you were still here!!!!! I Will keep you In my heart and mind forever!!! This one really hurts so much!!! Love you D!!!

Darrell was my big brother and he was the best one that there was. There will never be a day that goes by that I don't miss him and remember him for his great advice, love, and thoughtfulness. Rest in paradise big brother, I'll love you always.

Until we meet again those special Memories of you will always bring a smile to my face. If only I can have you back for a little while. Then we can sit and talk again like we used to do. You always meant so very much and I always will too. The fact that you were no longer here will always cause me pain But you are forever in my heart and always will be! Until we meet again!!! You were an amazing person!!! Blessed I had the opportunity of knowing you! Sending my prayers & strength to your family 🙏🏽
