David was born in St. Paul Minnesota. In 1968 his family moved to Seattle where he attended Blanchet High school and met exchange student, Gabriela Arteaga from Mexico City. He attended North Seattle community college and began selling Cutco knives. He was a successful salesman and recruiter transferred to Houston, where he reunited with Gabriela. They were married in 1980. He spent most of his sales career with Iscar Metals. He enjoyed golf and fishing and loved to BBQ. He is survived by his wife, Gabriela, her mother Bertha, sister Lalis and nephew Robert Louis Delaneo who were his wonderful support family. He is also survived by his Seattle family; brother, Stevie Adamek, sister, Arlene ( Wallie) Harrington, nephews Brian & Andy Harrington and nieces Jocelyn Soike Phelps and Shelby Soike. A private memorial will be held in Houston.
