David Earl Brewer

David Earl Brewer, age 74, of Spring, Texas, passed away on March 18, 2025. He was born in Houston, Texas, on August 29, 1950, to parents Cecil Brewer and Joyce Brewer.

David graduated from New Caney High School in 1969. He served his country by joining the Air Force. After his discharge from the military, he met his wife in 1976, and they married on December 2, 1977. David’s faith was a deeply important part of his life, and he was passionate about sharing the name of God with others. His unwavering devotion to the Lord was evident to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Brewer; mother, Joyce Brewer; and sister, Sandra Kretzschmar.

David is survived by his loving wife, Betty Brewer; his children, Jenny Goff and spouse Shawn Goff, Rachel Rivera and spouse David Rivera, John Brewer and spouse Brittany Brewer, and Sarah Bourque and spouse Bryan Bourque. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Ethan and Rylie Goff, Leo and Luke Rivera, and Austynn and Logan Bourque.

He is also survived by his three siblings, Richard Brewer, Theresa Hamilton, and Steven Brewer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends who were like family to him.

Pallbearers honoring David’s memory will be Ethan Goff, David Rivera, Bryan Bourque, Josh Brewer, Michael Hamilton, and John Brewer.

David will be remembered for his strong faith, kindness, and devotion to his family and friends. His memory will continue to be cherished by all who loved him.
