Born in Dayton, Ohio, on the 15th of July 1959, to a family of five and the second son of John and Martha Burke, the former US Marine raised a beautiful family and was the inspiration and love of all their lives. Truly selfless, he was a hardworking engineer and always put his family ahead of himself in all aspects of life.
His love of hard rock, live music, and endless knowledge of everything remotely associated with the genre made him not only unique, but unrivaled by anyone else.
Vacationing to the beaches of the world, both foreign and domestic, provided immeasurable happiness in his life and was always shared between he and Lisa, his loving wife of 31 years.
Along with Lisa, he is also survived by his beautiful daughter, Jessica; admiring son David; and his loving siblings, Mike, John, Eddie, and Lisa, as well as countless friends and colleagues whose lives he bettered and embraced.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from one until two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 9th of March, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
The funeral service is to follow at two o’clock, also in the Jasek Chapel.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent grand foyer.
He was loved by all and will forever be remembered.
