David Munoz Carrillo, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, at the age of 82. He was born on September 28, 1943, in Zacatecas, Mexico, to Luis Carrillo and Juana Muñoz.
David was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family. His strong work ethic and dedication to those he loved were an important part of the life he built. He will be remembered by his family for his devotion and the love he shared with them throughout his life.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita Carrillo; his children, Edgar D. Carrillo, Eric A. Carrillo, Maria I. Carrillo, and Jessie Treviño; and his grandchildren, Eric A. Carrillo, Jr., Michael R. Carrillo, Jacob R. Carrillo, Cristian I. Carrillo, Jenny Treviño, Jamie Solis, Sirey Solis, and Rosa Flores.
He is also survived by his siblings, M. Oliva Carrillo Muñoz, Ma. Del Refugio Barrera Carrillo, Amelia Magallanes Carrillo, Jose Angel Carrillo Muñoz, and Jesus Venegas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juana Muñoz and Luis Carrillo.
David had a love for soccer, and his favorite team was Chivas of Mexico. His passion for the sport was a special part of his life and a reflection of the things he enjoyed.
David's life was centered around hard work, family, and the people he loved. He leaves behind a family who will carry his memory with them and remember the lasting impact he made through his dedication, love, and example.
