Teresa we are so sorry about David's passing, what a great guy he was.
We will miss him a lot ,  and always enjoyed talking to him.

I’m so very sorry Theresa and your family, and to my cousin David for this sudden devastating loss. My Uncle Dave was a good man, funny and unique as they come, really quite an original. I have many happy memories growing up around him, especially all the years that he lived upstairs from my Nonna and all the Sunday dinners we spent there. He will be greatly missed. May he Rest In Peace.

Theresa, I have no words except I am truly sorry for your loss.  David was such a kind, caring and sweet hearted man who had a great sense of humor!!  I will always hold our trip to Galveston in my heart....we had such a great time.  Enjoyed watching and yelling at the Astros with him, in his New Jersey accent.  My fondest memory is I was his other Theresa.  Wherever we went, he wanted one on each arm and he would say,  “My two Theresas.”  I am going to miss him dearly.

David will be greatly missed.  He was always joking around and he was the best fit for Theresa.  He was also so attentive to her along with the occasional joke.  One of my favorite memories was when I got to meet David for the first time in California when he and Theresa were dating.  He fit in right in there with all of us including Cecilia and Nelson.  We knew then he was the right one for Theresa.  Our hearts are broken but know that he is in a special place in heaven looking over us all.

Words cannot express the deep sorrow we felt at hearing of the passing of David. Even though we’d only known him a short time, we felt as though we’d known him a lifetime. I will so miss our comical banter on FB. May everyone in his family and his friends find peace through their faith and comfort in their memories. He will certainly be missed!

David was one of my good chat buddies in the neighborhood and just an overall great person and friend. He loved catching up on anything and everything, house projects, yard work, weather, sports, Texas. That's who David was, he didn't know any strangers. I'd be walking by his house with my wife, two sons, and dog, and we knew that if we saw him outside, we'd stop and chat for at least 20 minutes, and many times, much longer than that. He loved people, he loved his family, his neighbors, his friends, and most of all, his lovely wife Teresa. And if you ever needed help with something, or needed to borrow a tool for a project, he'd be there in a heartbeat. I will miss you, David. The neighborhood and its Facebook page will never be the same without you. I'll miss our chats but one day we'll have them again. God bless you

To know David was to love him. You couldn't help it. He didn't know a stranger, and he immediately became your best bud five minutes after meeting. Forest Pines won't be the same without him. 

David, you've certainly left a hole in our hearts. I'll miss our talks about the Astros, and I know my husband will miss your jokes and banter. My boys, as young as they are, are surely going to miss seeing the new creations you've added to your yard, but they may still try to climb your tree, David. 

We promise to take care of Theresa. Don't you worry about that, David. You can rest easy, my friend. Until we meet again.

Watching neighbors David and his beloved wife Theresa from across the cul-de-sac has been a delight for years. He loved Theresa so much and they were simply adorable together. 
David’s death is a huge loss for the neighborhood, where some of us considered him the unofficial mayor. He was ready with a kind word, a helping hand, a bottle of cold water for everyone who passed by - from trash pickup truck drivers, to the postal workers, to neighbors out for a walk. 
We’ll still hear him in the wonderful, magical wind chime he put high up in a tree out front. We’ll see him in the many lovely flowers he just couldn’t stop planting. The hummingbirds will be here looking for him soon. They’ll find him in our memories and our hearts. He was a special man and very rich in family and their love. My prayers go out Theresa, his son, his stepdaughter, his stepson and his whole family. 


I'm so very sorry Theresa.  I send my prayers to you, your family and your David.  God gained an angel who will forever watch over you...

When I think of David, I think of him joining Theresa, Susan, cece, Becky and myself on a road trip to junk stores all around Cape Cod.  He loved Theresa , and didn’t want us women to ride around and get lost, but to be honest, I think he just enjoyed junking and antiquing as much as we did.  I loved David and mainly because he kept in touch by Facebook and texting me about all that he and Teresa were doing together.  Great times and always in my heart are the memories we all shared.  Heaven will be laughing and smiling when they greet him into the Lord’s arms. I will see you there my friend and we can laugh some more!

Always enjoyed joking with him on Facebook...He was my..”Is it Friday yet?? “...friend until he retired and many other memories...but the smile and the joking personality really stand out...He fit into our club group from the beginning and I was so happy to see the special relationship that he and Theresa shared...I am so saddened by his loss and send love and prayers to Theresa and all of the family that he touched with his fun loving spirit..I know he is resting in peace..and already adding his special touches to God’s beautiful garden💔

Every time I was around David, he was pleasant and gracious. He was a wonderful man to be around. I’m so glad to have known him and will miss him. May God bless his family!

As a friend of Dave's since the early 60's , I have more than a few favorite memory's.  Dave was the best . All that new him were blessed to call him their friend.    We may not have him here with us but he will never be far from our thoughts.  My condolence's to all his family. 


Sweet David.  He was always fun to be around and was the joy at our LeSorelle Christmas parties.  When my Mom worked at Macy’s fine jewelry dept he would shop for Theresa.  He always made sure when he would see them at Mass he would always say hi to my Mom.  Theresa know that you have an angel in heaven and I understand all of your hearts are broken but keep praying and ask God for peace.  Love all of you,

I don’t have enough room to write all the special memories I have of Dave. I think of all the political debates, the conversations about what we thought our pets were thinking or saying, and the deep talks we would have when it was just the two of us. 
He was known for being loud, opinionated and sometimes brash, but maybe not as known was his soft and emotional side. 
I’m not going to lie, we drove each other crazy often, but it was in the way that you do with the ones you love. He did not have to be blood to be family. And he was definitely family. 
My stepdad would do anything for me. He took me to the ER when I cut my finger open last year, he helped on numerous home projects with my husband and he gave advice when I was struggling. 
What I loved and will miss the most about Dave is his love and care of my mother.  He was open and proud with his love, so it was never doubted. 
We love you Dave and you will be be so so missed. 

I cannot begin to express the shock and sorrow at David's passing.  He was always so full of life and such a big part of everything.  We will always miss him.  
I remember lots of little things.
He was thoughtful in lots of little ways.  He always reserved a spot in the driveway for Inez so she'd be close to the door for family gatherings.
When he wanted his garden gnomes repainted, Angela encouraged him to ask me but he didn't want to impose. At her urging he called me and I was happy to do it.  I was glad when he said he was pleased at the result when I finished, but I was even more pleased when he asked me to repaint the second one because that meant he really thought I did a good job on the first one.
I also remember he thought I was calling Sugar my granddaughter, until he realized that I was actually calling her my granddog--and then he decided it was funny and he started calling her his granddogger.
And I remember that when Tommy was very little he used to play with him and chant humminah humminah humminah -- no one seemed to know what it meant but Tommy thought it was great fun whatever it was so David kept doing it.
I remember lots of little things like those and more keep coming.
I will miss him very much.
