David L. Gray was a brave and strong man. He was kind, loving and caring. He always made friends everywhere he went. He was the kind of brother everyone wanted to have because he was always there for you with open arms. As a husband, he took care of his wife the best way he knew how; with true love beyond compare. When he had daughters, he vowed to protect, provide and teach them the important and simplest things in life you could not live without. Then at work he would often work double shifts for the company to give his family all he could. Upon friendship, he extended a helping hand anytime any one asked and sometimes when they didn’t. He took in and treated people in life like family. If someone fell down, he would pick you up; if you needed a shoulder to cry on, he would lend you one; if you needed a hug he was always ready to hold you; if you were sad he would always make you laugh. His laughter and smile were contagious. It was his gift to the world. We will always remember his joy, happiness and sunshine. Now he lives inside of all of us because he took the time to talk and spend time with us, becoming a part of our hearts and souls. Like a rock; solid, hard, tough, rough, everlasting, he will always be there. We love you son, brother, husband, daddy and friend forever and ever. Amen.
