David W Hughes

David was a craftsman setting tiles for various companies throughout his career. Following his retirement, he was a caregiver for elderly patients. David enjoyed life to the fullest especially when he was riding motorcycles, rooting for his beloved Astros, and spending time with his friends. David had a big heart and a generous spirit, maybe to a fault. But David would rather be guilty of doing too much for people rather than not enough.

David is survived by a daughter, Joanna, brother and his wife, Wally and Marcia and nephews Nicholas and Grant. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benton and Geraldine and his niece, Haley.

A funeral service for David will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas.
