David Milton Sewell, 68, of Cypress Texas, passed away Monday January 13, 2014 of natural causes. He was born to the late David and Margaret Sewell, February 8, 1945, in Kansas City, MO. He met the love of his life Janice Redden in 1986 and until the time of his death resided in Cypress Texas.
David was a truck driver until he retired in 2008. Through this career, he developed lifelong friendships. David had a strong sense of camaraderie with his friends and especially enjoyed playing cards. David had a personal relationship with God and he enjoyed quiet prayer time while sitting in a chair by the beach. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, wrestling and relaxing with his other loves Judy and Jane. David also enjoyed traveling with his wife and sister and was always up for an adventure.
David is survived by his wife Janice Redden of Cypress Texas, son David Sewell and wife Wyla of Lebanon, Missouri Sister Beverly Ryan and husband Bill; Daughters: Kathy Adams, Janice Kutchner and husband Rick, Trisha Morgan and husband Richard of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Rebecca Terrell and husband Kevin of Houston, Texas; Sons: Kevin Redden and wife Pamela of Cypress Texas, Kenneth Redden and wife Sherella of Houston Texas. He also is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
David is proceeded in death by his Father and Mother David and Margaret Sewell, Aunt Mabel McKinstry, and daughter Pamela Berkebile. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18th at Brookside Funeral Home.
