Was David in the USAF during the Vietnam conflict in the mid-1960s? If so,  was he shot down  over North Vietnam while flying a combat mission? If so, I was in the same squadron as he was (427th MMS) at Canon AFB near Clovis, NM.  

So sorry to read of Dave’s passing.  Dave and I were classmates in the Delta pilot new hire class in 1977.  It was always a pleasure to greet Dave in the pilot lounge, terminal, or on layover throughout our careers at Delta.  A true gentleman and friend.    Craig Stienecker
