Dawn devoted her life to serving others as a Patient Access Coordinator at Memorial Hermann NE Hospital. She began her career in June 1984 and retired on December 16, 2021, after 38 and a half years of dedicated service. She volunteered countless hours of her time, and everyone within the Memorial Hermann family who knew her absolutely loved and adored her.
Dawn's favorite things were family, friends, country music, line dancing, traveling, trail riding, concerts and "ANY" Rodeo. Her passion for the rodeo was unmatched. She was a lifetime member of the East Montgomery County Fair Association and later became a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. From 1992 until her passing, she served on the Houston Metro Go Texan Committee, New Caney/Splendora Subcommittee and on the Special Project Committee is where she earned her lifetime Committeeman Badge. Dawn was a proud Rodeo Season Ticket holder. She attended every rodeo and concert she could, always accompanied by her sister Linda, Best Friend Vickie and a large universe of family and friends she would invite as well. We can't go without mentioning George Strait, her #1 favorite Country Entertainer, and anything related to him became a treasured possession for Dawn.
Dawn found her happy place at the VFW in Cleveland. She loved dancing and there she met her special special friend Billy, who shared her passion for the dance floor. Nearly every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, Dawn could be found there, enjoying the fun and friendship. She often brought family and friends along to share the joy and relaxing atmosphere she cherished. Dawn was like a magnet, drawing people to her and forming lasting bonds.
