Debbie Sue Manuel-Hamner passed on to the other side, March 27, 2018. She was born in Heights Hospital on November 17, 1956 in Houston, Texas to parents Winnie Faye and Jimmie Lonnie Manuel. Debbie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Winnie Faye and Jimmie Lonnie Manuel.
She is survived by her two daughters, first, Shannon Marie Crumpler and husband John, second, her loving Buttercup, canine companion; son, James Arnold Hamner Jr.; three grandchildren, Hailey Suzanne Crumpler, Briana Michelle Hamner, James Louis Emmanuel Hamner; two brothers, Jimmie Wayne Manuel, Robby Lynn Manuel; nieces, Stacey Ann Manuel, Billie Rayne White Garza, April Sunshine Rodriquez; nephews; Jimmie Curtis Manuel, Justin Wayne Manuel, Christopher Michael White; great nieces; Josie Harper Manuel, Jensen Grace Manuel, Alyssa Hernandez, Yuleanna Angulo; and great nephew; Giovanni Vallenica.
Cousins: Carolyn Hofker and husband Ray, Danny Naskey and wife Susan, Mark Naskey and Kim Naskey.
As well as the love of her life and best friend, Steve Childress, along with numerous friends and other family members.
The family will ask you to join them for a memorial service on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2 pm, in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Debbie’s Farewell Party will follow after the memorial service at her daughter’s home in Tomball, TX. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
