She had graduated from Mount Carmel and received a Bachelors from the University of Houston. Deborah had a career in Sociology and worked for Harris County and Nasa. She was a member of Sky Scraper Shadows Citizen patrol and had a passion for spoiling her grandchildren and reading.
Deborah is survived by her son Christopher Daniel Fowlkes-Garcia, Sr. and wife Andiana Romero Fowlkes-Garcia; grandchildren Matthew Henry Flores, Oscar Armando Flores Jr. and Christopher Daniel Fowlkes-Garcia Jr.
A visitation for Deborah will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10:45 AM to 12:45 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A celebration of life will occur Friday, January 28, 2022 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Friday, January 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
Serving as pallbearers are Hector J. Garza Jr., Antonio Garza, Javier Gonzalez Jr., Timothy Thrash, Steve Twilley and Chris Fowlkes-Garcia Sr..
