Deborah was the first person I would see when entering Kelsey Seybold Memorial Village medical facility.  We often chit-chatted when I entered or stopped by the pharmacy. One day at KS I quickly noticed a "delicious" scent. I asked what she had on that day because I wanted to smell like her. She happened to have some in her purse, and she was kind enough to share some with me.    That little exchange between us sparked mutual greetings each time I went to the doctor. I did not know Deborah as most have, but I felt comfortable talking to her. I stopped to talk to her today, and the receptionist told me of her passing. It was a shockand deeply saddened because I never detected she was ill.  May her loved ones feel comfort from the words in the Holy Bible.
Psalm 116:15 states, "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints."  I know each time when I enter KSeybold,  I will continue to look for her smile, but in my heart, I know she is home with the LORD.

Rest peacefully sweet Deborah.  You were an amazing person,  mother,  sister, daughter and friend.  You will be missed but forever in everyone's heart.

My Condolences are with your daughter and Family.I only meet you a couple of years ago when we both became a . member of Houston League of Black and Professional Women Club.
