Debbie, we love you and miss you. You happened to be the very first person at KHOU to make me feel at home. Little did I know that encounter would become a lifelong friendship. You were a woman of grace, beauty, kindness, consideration, love and most of all God. We miss you terribly... but we know you are in God's hands and are at "home" with our Lord and Savior. Thank you Father for placing Debbie in our lives for we have been blessed and increased through her love and friendship.

So very sorry, and shocked, to hear of the loss of my dear cousin, Debbie. PJ and I so enjoyed our visits over the years. Unfortunately, we are in New England and will not be able to attend the Celebration of Life.

TJ, Lauren and Jimmy, may the Good Shepard hold you close. Thinking of you, we will be there in spirit Saturday.

While working at KHOU, I was lucky to be Debbie's cube neighbor. Debbie was always smiling and sweet; her positive energy was contagious. Although I only worked with Debbie for a short time, I still remember how sweet she was. If I was having a bad day, Debbie would always assure me that everything was going to work out, and she would listen to my stories and take a genuine interest.

She would always tell me stories about her family and you could see her love and pride for them right there. Even though I hadn't spoken to Debbie in a long time, the news of her passing was a shock.

I send my condolences and pray God gives her family the strength through this difficult time.
