Deborah Louise Young

June 30, 1952 – June 14, 2026
Obituary of Deborah Louise Young
IN THE CARE OF

Memorial Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Louise Young (Debbie) on June 14, 2026. Debbie was born on June 30, 1952, in Houston, Texas, to the late Glen Robert Young and Virginia Merie Young.

Debbie is survived by her brothers, Tom Young (Peggy), Roddy Young (Rob), and Jon Young; her nieces and nephews, Jessica Frausto (Jose III), Rebecca Neuenfeldt (Dan), Robert Young (Carli), and Michael Young (Linsay) ; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mia Frausto, Jose IV Frausto, Julian Neuenfeldt, Emmie Young, Reid Young, Sara Young, and Samantha Young; as well as the many dear friends who loved her and were blessed by her friendship.

Debbie’s greatest love was her beloved fur babies. Every animal she welcomed into her care was given a life filled with love, comfort, and spoiling. Her compassion for animals knew no bounds. In fact, she was literally climbing under bushes to rescue her final kitty, Coco, because she knew the frightened little baby needed help. Coco repaid that kindness with unwavering love and companionship.

Throughout her life, Debbie worked in a variety of jobs. However, it was her career with Enterprise Products that brought her the greatest sense of pride and accomplishment. After dedicating 40 years to the company, she retired in 2019. Debbie often spoke about how her time at Enterprise Products changed her life, and she remained grateful for the opportunities, friendships, and experiences she found there.

Debbie will be remembered for her generous heart, her devotion to animals, her sense of humor, and the love she shared so freely with family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
