Delia Barrera, age 56, passed away on April 15, 2015 in Houston, Texas. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and moved to Houston where she raised her family. Delia dedicated over 20 years to the Alief School District. She was well liked by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Barrera, Jr.; parents, Manuel and Oliva Acuna and her sister Juana Maria Mendoza. She is survived by her son, Leroy and Mayra Barrera; daughter Valerie and Julian Villanueva, III; grandchildren Alyssa Ramirez, Leroy Barrera, Jr., Miranda Barrera, Olivia Garcia, Aiden Barrera, and Franky Villanueva; brothers, Manuel Acuna, Jr., Hillario Acuna, Francisco Acuna, Antonio Acuna; sister Cordelia Flores and many nieces and nephews.
