Delicia was born in Houston, Texas on April 1, 1973. She graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in 1992. Delicia married Jose G. Garcia on October 8, 1993. She is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Joe D. Gonzales, and Grandmothers, Guadalupe C. Gonzales & Teresa Rodriguez.
Delicia is survived by her Husband-Jose G. Garcia, Daughter-Veronica Alicia Garcia, Mother-Dolores Gonzales & Dad-Alvin Pesina, Father-Ruben Murillo Sr. & Wife-Rosa Murillo, Brother-Ruben Murillo Jr. & Wife-Dafney Murillo, Nephews & Nieces-Alex Murillo, Gaby Murillo, Drew Cabrera & Devany Cabrera, as well as many cousins and countless friends.
A loving wife, mother, daughter and friend, Delicia devoted her life to her only daughter Veronica. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends and going on family trips. She was gifted in working on arts & crafts. She had a way of bringing family and friends together. Delicia was a very beautiful person inside and out. She was an extraordinary person. Her beautiful smile and soul will be missed by her family, friends, and all who loved her. She loved without limits and was looked up to by many. The love and memories she’s left behind will be felt for years to come. Delicia began her survivor journey in 2016. She shared various pictures and memories of the travels she experienced with her family and friends through social media. She enjoyed life to the fullest no matter what obstacles were placed in her path.
The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Siller & staff, Dr. Westin & staff, Dr. Whitehead, and Dr. Velasco for their undivided attention, support, and kindness. With the assistance of these doctors our family was able to enjoy additional time with Delicia. Also, a sincere thank you to all the nursing staff at Memorial City Memorial Herman who treated Delicia with utmost care and compassion.
