Dell Bridges

Dell weighed less than 3 pounds and was given no chance to live.

Dell and Nell were educated in Columbus public schools. They went to college in 1949 where Clyde met Dell…when Clyde finished his education and his military obligations, five years had lapsed.

Dell and Clyde married in Columbus, November 6, 1954. They lived in Alabama, Mississippi, Pennsylvania and Texas. They had their first child Kim in 57, Pam was born in 60, and Jon in 63.

Dell and Clyde have four grandchildren Karen, Keith, Chris, and Adam and two great-grandchildren Cora and Cooper.

Dell was very active in several different interests including ECW, travel, decorating, fashion, gardening, needle work, and reading. Dell was an avid sport fan and had a vast knowledge of the players and teams she supported.

Dell and Clyde were married 64 years until her passing in June 2018 when she went to join our Lord and Savior.

Celebration of Life will be Friday, July 13th, 2018 at 2:00pm at Saint Martin’s Episcopal Church 717 Sage, Houston TX 77056
