DeShaunta (Deedee) Monique Marshall was born August 14, 1987 to Robert Van Ford and Venissa Renae Ford in San Antonio, Texas. She was raised in Houston Texas where she attended Dobie High School and graduated 2006. Shortly thereafter she enrolled in The University of Houston and studied to become a pharmacy technician. In 2005 she met the love of her life Jonathan Marshall and they were wed on September 22, 2007. Sunday February 10, 2019 she departed this world and was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven.
DeShaunta was survived by her parents, her husband (Jonathan Marshall), and children (Ethan, Elise, and Emmanuel Marshall), her brother Robert Van Ford ll and Sister Aneissa Ford. She is predeceased by her Grandfather Royce Ford, Aunt Patrice Taylor, and Uncle Bermoine Lindsey.
DeShaunta was a devoted mother that loved to home school and take her children on adventures to learn about history and nature. She was an extraordinary wife and the very epitome of a virtuous woman. She had a radiant spirit and beautiful smile and left a lasting impression on everyone she came in contact with.
She Loved the Lord and served Him with all her heart. She had the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight (1 peter 3:4).
Even though she will be missed by we who remain we know that she is in a better place where there is no more pain or suffering. Until we meet again we will strive to live out your legacy of generosity, kindness, and faith in Him who cannot fail. “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” (Ephesians 3:20)
