Devera Lorene Clayton

Devera Lorene Clayton, 83, of Houston, Texas, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022. She was born in Houston, Texas on October 27, 1939. Devera graduated from Reagan High School. She was a Data Processor Supervisor at Dresser Air Tools until her retirement. She had a passion for quilting and crocheting.

Devera is survived by two sisters Ira Galloway of Athens, Texas and Evelyn Clayton of Houston, Texas; brother Melvin Clayton and his wife Susan of Tomball, Texas; niece Terrie Mondor and her husband Randy of Kingwood, Texas; nephew Tim Galloway of Houston, Texas, nephew Kevin Clayton of Tomball, Texas, and niece Krystal Clayton of Tomball, Texas; great-nieces Kayla Galloway, Alanna Galloway and Emily Clayton; great-nephews Tyler Galloway and Cole Clayton; and numerous cousins and other family.

A visitation for Devera will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Brookside Memorial Park.
