Mr. DeWayne LaFrancha Raibon was born September 15th, 1956, in Smith County, Texas, to Pearlina Raibon. He attended Dixie Elementary for his primary education and graduated from John Tyler High School in 1975. DeWayne was a devoted employee of Harris Health Systems in Houston, Texas.
He married Mrs. Irene Kelly of Whitehouse, Texas on November 24th, 1976. DeWayne was a loving father to Melody Thomas (Ruston, LA), Kency Kelly (Houston), Karese Leavatts married to Lacie Leavatts Jr. (Houston) and Kemeshia Raibon (Houston). He was a faith servant of God.
Preceding him in death are his loving grandparents: Horace and Murtle Raibon; mother: Pearlina Raibon; wife: Irene Kelly Raibon, uncle: Arthur Millner, and cousin: Arthur Millner Jr.
Left to cherish his memories include his loving children Melody, Kency, Karese and Kemeshia; eight grandsons: Tre’Von Thomas, Tevin Thomas, Kency Kelly Jr., Koby Leavatts, Jakob Leavatts, Amari McClinton, Cameron McClinton and Melvante Raibon; aunt Ruth Millner; cousins: Thomas Turner, Michael Millner, Rachelle Williams, Teresa Millner; two brothers-in-law: Troy B. Kelly (Dallas) and Curtis Lee Kelly (Dallas); three sisters-in-law: Arretha Polk (Tyler), Margie Nell Burns (Tyler) and Emma Bowie (Tyler); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Cr, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095, US, on October 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
