Dexter gained his angel wings from our eternal father on February 8, 2021. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama on July 21, 1951 to Robert and Willie M. Peoples. His mother divorced and remarried a man name Frank Glover of Montgomery, Alabama. Dexter was raised by his mother, Willie M. Glover and Frank Glover, his step-father, all who proceeded him in death.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was a God-fearing man. One of honesty and integrity in all he did. Dexter graduated from George Washington Carver High School in Montgomery, Al. He was a veteran of the Air Force and graduated from Alabama State with a Bachelor’s Degree. Dexter was an accomplished accountant for over forty years.
Dexter was married to his loving, beautiful wife Aundreia Peoples for forty-four years. There were no children born into this union, but they were an inseparable couple. You did not see one without the other. Their marriage symbolized true love. Outside of spending time with Aundreia he enjoyed golfing, traveling, and fishing. Dexter also loved pets. Daisy, his Pitbull, is going to miss him dearly.
Dexter was the second child of four and also had a step-brother. Wilbert Peoples (Montgomery, Alabama) and a step- brother, Frank Glover Jr. both preceded him in death.
Dexter leaves to cherish his memories to his devoted and loving wife Aundreia Peoples, a sister, Priscilla Porterfield (Montgomery, AL), a brother, Richard Peoples (Katy, TX), three Sister-In- Laws, Tammy Johnson (Wilmington, Delaware), Leslie Burse (Lafayette, GA) and, Susan Young (Atlanta, GA), one brother-in- law, Robert Joyner (Wilmington, Delaware). He leaves behind three very special sister- like cousins, Dorothy Reynolds, Shirley Knight, and Jewel (Larry) Coleman. Although Dexter did not have biological children, there are a host of nieces, nephews, and godchildren that will never forget the love and kindness he brought to their lives. Dexter was a kind person to all whether friend or associate; he was genuine.
