

Diane L. Ferro of Needville, Texas passed away on January 9th, 2024 at the age of 63. She was born on February 8th, 1960 in White Settlement, Texas. She was adopted by William and Imogene Janak with whom she grew up in Alief, Texas and graduated from Alief Hastings High School in 1979.
In 1980, she met the love of her life, Johnny Ferro, and they married a month later on August 1st. That love has lasted over 43 wonderful years.
She worked as an office manager at Easy Aire for over 19 years. While there, she had the privilege of becoming close personal friends with James, Johnny and David Money whom she came to think of as family.
Being adopted, Diane grew up as an only child. A highlight of Diane’s life occurred in March of 2019 when she learned that she had two biological sisters, Latisha Zoerner and Rhonda Stepp. This revelation gave her the chance to develop personal and meaningful bonds with her newfound family over the past 5 years.
She was an avid fan of the Sugarland Skeeters and never missed a game. In 2014 she was thrilled to have the opportunity to throw out the first pitch. She was actively involved in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, serving on several different committees over the years.
She is preceded in death by her parents William L. Janak and Imogene S. Janak.
She is survived by her husband Johnny W. Ferro Jr., her sister Latisha Zoerner and her sister Rhonda Stepp.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer, Houston, Texas on January 19th, 2024. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm and the service will start at 2:00pm. Interment to immediately follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
