Dinora Soire Baze

Born in La Laja, a small town that she adored located in the Tamiahua Lagoon of Veracruz on March 4, 1962, daughter to Teresa Reyes and Augusto Ceballos; Dinora lived her childhood in Tampico, Tamaulipas with her mother Teresa, her father passing at a young age, and being an only child, she was always surrounded by a great amount of extended family that she loved so dearly. Her life as a young woman was spent in Mexico City where she studied to be a cosmetologist with dreams of opening her own beauty salon. Shortly after her dream became a success, Dinora’s mother Teresa became seriously ill. Dinora decided to close down her business and dedicate her time to her mothers health. This was one of the many experiences that made her the strong, sensible and humble woman we all know and love.

After her mother’s passing Dinora pursued a new life in the United States. With the help of friends and family Dinora was living the American Dream in no time. Soon she met her beloved husband Stephen Baze (64) with whom she began a family with in 1997. As a married couple, Dinora & Stephen Baze started their very own business from the ground up, known as Beds To Go. This venture provided a great quality of life for the Baze family for over 19 years.

Dinorah is survived by her most prized possessions, her daughters, Stephanie (24) and Melina (22). Dinorah dedicated herself to her entire family with great presence, unconditional love, while passing along her wonderful traits as a strong, disciplined woman. Dinorah also completed her role as a woman becoming a caring grandmother to the little girl who filled her heart with joy. Dinorah’s love for her granddaughter Aleah (1) was so strong she put all of her plans on hold to help raise and enjoy her little “Tiki Tiki”.

Dinorah had a great passion for volunteering in her spare time. Dinorah was a Girl Scout Troop Leader, PTO school president, hosted events for minorities to obtain scholarships, and she holds over 10 Certificates of Appreciation.

Dinorah also enjoyed gardening, composting and recycling for the better of the planet. Every time we pass through a garden, we shall be reminded of her.

The most incredible trait of Dinorah’s was her passion to help others without caring for anything in return. It took Dinorah just seconds to obtain a new friend that she genuinely loved and cared for. We shall remember Dinorah through all of her acts of kindness. From saluting every stranger, to donating her organs, it is now our job to continue her legacy and do better.

Today we are here to say goodbye but not the last goodbye, because she will always be in our hearts and thoughts.

On July 5, 2023, her love and presence is survived by her husband Stephen, daughters Stephanie & Melina, her granddaughter Aleah and her best friend Sandra Uribe.

A visitation for Dinora will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 17, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Monday, July 17, 2023 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.

Dinorah Zoiree Reyes Baze

Nacida en La Laja, un pequeño pueblo que adoraba ubicado en la Laguna de Tamiahua de Veracruz el 4 de marzo de 1962, hija de Teresa Reyes y Augusto Ceballos; Dinorah vivió su infancia en Tampico, Tamaulipas con su madre Teresa, su padre falleció a temprana edad, y siendo hija única, siempre estuvo rodeada de una gran cantidad de familia extendida a la que tanto amaba. Su vida de joven transcurrió en la Ciudad de México donde estudió cosmetología con el sueño de abrir su propio salón de belleza. Poco después de que su sueño se convirtiera en un éxito, la madre de Dinorah, Teresa, enfermó gravemente. Dinorah decidió cerrar su negocio y dedicar su tiempo a la salud de su madre. Esta fue una de las muchas experiencias que la convirtieron en la mujer fuerte, sensata y humilde que todos conocemos y queremos.

Tras el fallecimiento de su madre, Dinorah emprendió una nueva vida en Estados Unidos. Con la ayuda de amigos y familiares, Dinorah no tardó en vivir el sueño americano. Pronto conoció a su amado esposo Stephen Baze (64), con quien formó una familia en 1997. Como matrimonio, Dinora y Stephen Baze empezaron su propio negocio desde cero, conocido como Beds To Go. Esta empresa proporcionó una gran calidad de vida a la familia Baze durante más de 19 años.

A Dinorah le sobreviven sus posesiones más preciadas, sus hijas, Stephanie (24) y Melina (22). Dinorah se dedicó a toda su familia con gran presencia, amor incondicional, mientras transmitía sus maravillosos rasgos de mujer fuerte y disciplinada. Dinorah también completó su papel de mujer convirtiéndose en una cariñosa abuela para la pequeña que llenaba su corazón de alegría. El amor de Dinorah por su nieta Aleah (1) era tan fuerte que dejó todos sus planes en suspenso para ayudar a criar y disfrutar de su pequeña "Tiki Tiki".

Dinorah tenía una gran pasión por el voluntariado en su tiempo libre. Dinorah fue líder de una tropa de Girl Scouts, presidenta de la escuela PTO, organizó eventos para que las minorías obtuvieran becas, y tiene más de 10 Certificados de Apreciación.

Dinorah también disfrutaba con la jardinería, el compostaje y el reciclaje por el bien del planeta. Cada vez que pasemos por un jardín, nos acordaremos de ella.

El rasgo más increíble de Dinorah era su pasión por ayudar a los demás sin importarle nada a cambio. Dinorah sólo tardaba unos segundos en conseguir un nuevo amigo al que quería y cuidaba de verdad. Recordaremos a Dinorah por todos sus actos de bondad. Desde saludar a cualquier desconocido hasta donar sus órganos, ahora nos toca a nosotros continuar su legado.

Hoy estamos aquí para decirle adiós, pero no el último adiós, porque siempre estará en nuestros corazones y pensamientos.
