He is survived by wife of 45 years, Kin King Wong, eldest daughter and husband; Doris & Linh Nguyen, granddaughter Madeleine Wong Nguyen, daughters Carol & Sandy Wong, brother Kwok Wah Wong, sisters Lin Mei Gin and Gloria Eng. He was predeceased by brother Raymond Wong and sister Lin Fong Lee.
Dom Wong was born in China, and he moved to the United States when he was fourteen years old. He had a passion for cooking, which led him into working as a cook and within the food services industry during his career. He retired at the age of 62, which allowed him time to enjoy the simple things in life. He loved to relax, spend time with family, attend live theater shows, listen to music, read, and try new foods. Dom Wong will be missed dearly for his witty sense of humor, kind gentle heart, and optimistic spirit.
