He was a longtime employee of Promotional Printing Co., a subsidiary of The Houston Chronicle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael Gonzales and Refugia Gonzales and sisters, Lucia Gonzales, Rafaela Quinonez, Ramona Gonzales, Maria Contreras and Antonia Gonzales.
He is survived by his wife, Gregoria Gonzales and their eight children. Alma Harris, Elena Gonzales, Domingo Gonzales Jr (Wayne Geeslin), Roger Gonzales (Gloria Gonzales), Ernest Gonzales (Delia Gonzales), Diane Moore, Ralph Gonzales (Norma Perez) and Naomi Bermea. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
The family would like to thank Paradigm and staff for their care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days. Altus Hospice, nurse Stephanie and CNA, Alfie and others.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial/Visitation Service at Funeraria Del Angel 4136 Broadway St. Houston Texas 77087 on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 6pm – 9pm.
Interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery 6900 Lawndale St. Houston Texas 77023 on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 11am – 12pm. Burial at 1pm.
