Donald Eugene Jones, 86, of New Caney, Texas passed away May 12, 2016. Mr. Jones was born September 14, 1929 in Bremond, Texas to Waldron Constantine and Mary Imogene Jenkins Jones.

Mr. Jones was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a master electrician by trade. He was a simple man who enjoyed his family, gardening and hunting. He enjoyed reading history and stories of the old west.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings, and his first wife: Terry Lee Terrazas Jones. He is survived by his wife, Frances Marie Nichols Jones. Daughters: Gerrie Yates and husband Curt of Houston, Barbara Kohlman of Spring, Cissye Markham and husband Claude of Spring, Kathleen Festervand and husband Todd of New Caney, Alice Greenfield and husband Gary of New Caney. Also survived by grandchildren; Rob, Daryle, Kelly, Mistye, Nicholas, Zachary, Samantha and 7 great grandchildren.
