

Donald Hugh Macbeth passed away on Wednesday evening, the 13th of April 2016, at the age of 70. Don was born on the 18th of October 1945, in Dayton, Ohio. He lived in Houston and attended St. Michael Catholic Church for 25 years before moving to Galveston in 2012.
Don graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati and had a long, successful career as Vice President of Finance and Operations in the auto industry. Don was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He was a talented artist and brilliant story teller.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deborah (Helton) Macbeth. He is also survived by his stepson Richard Wenzel, wife Kelly, sister Carol Kilgallan, sister Margie Bicknell, brother Robert Macbeth, wife Diane, brother-in-law Barry Helton, wife Linda, sister in-law Pamela Blaker, brother-in-law Jeffrey Helton, wife Deborah, sister-in-law Heidi Rockecharlie, husband Nicholas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Macbeth and mother, Mary Bond Macbeth of Dayton, Ohio.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Monday, the 18th of April, in the Grand Foyer and Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where recitation of the Holy Rosary is to commence at eight o’clock.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at ten o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 19th of April, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road in Houston.
The Rite of Committal and Entombment will follow, via an escorted cortege in the Memorial Mission Mausoleum at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston.
