Donald A. Murdaugh passed away on the 7th of November 2023. He is the loving husband of Joanne, the two sharing over 30 years of love. He is dad to Melissa Comiskey, Jack Longmire, and DJ Murdaugh, and Grandpa to Nate & Kolton Comiskey and Aubrey, Jack, and Jasmine Longmire. Donny is proceeded in death by his dad Tom, his mom Carol, and his younger brother Tommy. He is survived by his older brother Jimmy, older sister Patti, and younger sister Cyndie.
Don is the funniest, most sarcastic jokester that kept everyone laughing at his quips and wit. His leadership was apparent, and came with an inherent trust. He was the first to help others in need, no matter the cost to himself; he was always there. He was the first person to step in and protect both loved ones and strangers whatever the situation required.
Don’s life may have been short-lived, but it made a huge impact on the people he held close to his heart. There is no denying that his family felt his love and protection.
