

Donald ‘Don’ Vincent Paresa of Houston, Texas passed away on May 26, 2024 at the age of 64. He was born on September 29, 1959 in Los Angeles, California. He spent his childhood growing up in Baldwin Park & San Dimas along with 4 brothers…Tom, Doug, Bob & Bill and 1 sister…Ellen.
He graduated from San Dimas High School in 1977. He then obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at U of H Clear Lake in 1995.
As a young man he worked many different jobs including a cannery, a caregiver at a retirement home, and a delivery driver.
So he worked for a number of years as a delivery driver for Best Uniform. It was while working at Best Uniform that he met his future wife, Margie Guebara. Margie & Don were in their 35th year of Marriage.
Shortly after working for Best Uniform Don began working at Tyson Foods. He worked at Tyson for 25 years, and was employed there as a Supervisor when he passed. He was very proud of his Team, and had a great affection for each of his Team members.
Thru his life Don was actively involved Cub Scouts, then Boy Scouts as well as Awanas for many years. Don has donated his time and money to many organizations…to name a few The Voice of the Martyrs, Thru the Bible, various missionaries, & Nery’s Promise.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Paresa; his mother, Marguerite Kingsley; and two brothers, John & Robert Paresa.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Paresa; his children, Vincent, Veronica, and Jeremiah; four siblings, several cousins, nephews and nieces.
The family would like to thank the numerous medical personnel for the care and compassion they showed Don in his final days. To my immediate family, friends, relatives, everyone at Hodges Bend & the many individuals I’ve come to love in my school district, the Tyson Team and especially the love and support from Don’s family.
Don was a man of great faith. He always put his family’s needs ahead of his. He was such a caring man. He will be so missed and always in our hearts!
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral and Cemetery at 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, Tx 77077 on June 2,2024. Visitation with the family will begin at 9am. The service will begin at 10am.
