

Donald Ray Pease, 99, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013. He was the 10th of 11 children, born in Alhambra, California. He owned a Shell Service Station for many years in Dana Point, California. He enjoyed fishing, waterskiing, motorcycle riding in the mountains, RV’ing all over the country, fast cars, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn Pease; son-in-law, Charles S. Price; his parents; and his 10 brothers and sisters. He is survived by daughters, Jacquelyn Price and Jolene Herzman and husband Jim; granddaughters, Cheryl Claffey, Melanie Smith and husband Michael, Kristen Vasquez and husband Joe Romero, Melinda Zabava and husband Frank; grandson, Jim Herzman; great-grandchildren, Ryan Claffey, Adam Claffey, Donald Gonsoulin, Brandon Smith, Justin Vasquez, Jackie Crawford and husband Peter, Jarred Vasquez, Joshua Vasquez, Jillian Romero, Kyle Romero, and Kimberly Zabava; great-great granddaughter, Beatrix Crawford; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at 1:30pm, Monday, March 25, 2013 at Brookside Champions Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Brookside Champions. Entombment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
