Donald A. Pratt passed away on November 25, 2015. He was born on April 27, 1943 to parents Clarence and Lorie Pratt in Houston, Texas. Donald was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sue; daughters: Donna Patterson and Sandy Sims and her husband Scott; grandchildren: Sabrina Patterson, Katelyn Patterson, Emily Sims and Tyler Sims; great-grandchildren: Elaina Patterson and Aiden Miller; sister Shirley Murphree brothers: James Pratt, William Pratt and Larry Pratt and numerous nieces, nephew and a host of friends. Donald is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Bobby Pratt, Ray Pratt and Jerry Pratt.
The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, November 30, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home in the Family Chapel followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park & Cemetery.
