Donald Allen Reed Sr, 70, born November 2, 1941 entered into eternal rest July 28, 2012. Donald was born and raised in Houston. He was a butcher for Lewis Coker & Krogers # 240 for 40 years. Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing but his favorite hobby of all was chasing his precious grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents: Allen & Mildred Reed. Left to cherish his memories: loving wife of 50 years, Sherry Fay Parrish Reed; sons: Robert A. Reed & wife Mashelle, Ronald A. Reed & wife Margie, Donald Allen Reed Jr & wife Brandy; grandchildren: Rebecca Reed, Sarah Merten, Ashlyn Reed, Brin Reed, Hunter Reed, Cameron Reed, Jack Daniel Reed, Richard Craig, Britni Baldridge; great grandchild, Payton Tew; brother, Wesley Reed, along with numerous other dear family & friends. Visitation will be Tues., July 31st from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at 10am, Weds., Aug. 1st at Brookside Family Chapel. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
