Donald A. Smith, Sr. was born on December 4, 1933 right outside of San Antonio in Emerdorff, Texas to George Sr. and Anita Smith. He passed away peacefully in his home in Houston, Texas on Sunday, January 27, 2019. Don dedicated his life to Jehovah in 1948 at 15 years of age and was baptized in a Sulphur spring outside San Antonio.
Don was preceded in death by his wife Diana Kay Smith and brother George Smith, Jr. Left to cherish his memories are: his sister Wanda Pfiel and sister-in-law Phyllis Smith; his five children: Donald Smith, Jr. and wife Sandy, Kenney Smith and wife Carolyn, Susan Greeney and husband Bill, Jeffrey Smith and Linda, Debra Bacarisse and husband Scott; ten wonderful grandchildren, six lovely great-grandchildren, three nephews and one niece.
