Dear Donnie, your smile I will never forget and your sweet heart will forever remain in my memories. When I think of you not a bad thought has ever come to mind. You welcomed me with open arms and my daughter the same. And I remember your sweet smiling face at my wedding as well. You always checked on me to make sure I was doing ok and to come and talk about anything but especially boxing. We were automatic friends, as I'm sure was the case for almost everybody you met. You were a blessing to all of us, like a rock for all of us at Southwest. I'll always remember our talks about your brother in law, the "Raging Bull" Jake La Motta, and thanks to you the boxer Lou Savarese came to visit me anytime he was in the building. I'll never forget you Donnie, and I'll love ya forever. FOGETTABOUTIT!

God bless you all.  He was special and that's not just the cliche you hear after people die.  Heck some might even say it about me.  Donnie helped everyone and we were lucky to have know him.

Will always remember Donnie as a wonderful, generous friend.  Some great memories being on the golf course together.  I do wish he would have let me win at least once!!  Loving thoughts and prayers to Gladys and the entire Thailer family.

Dear Gladys and family.  I was so saddened to hear of Donny's death.  As a young cousin growing up with all of the Thailer cousins, I always looked to Donny as a big brother.  He was so kind and loving to me, even though I could be a brat.  He will always have a special place in my heart. I loved seeing that picture of him, it is how I remember him.  So darn handsome.

When Donnie retired, he retired to work.  He came to Southwest Wholesale, a music distribution company.  We were a lot younger than Donnie and a lot of us looked a "bit" different than what Donnie was used to. Lot's of piercings and tattoos etc. These are the people that loved Donnie as you will see as this page fills up with our remembrances.  Donnie never cared what you looked like, how many tattoos one had, or what body parts you had pierced.  He had a kind word for everyone and as you will see, everyone had a kind word for him.  Love you and I will miss you.
