

Don L. Wilson, 81, left his home in Houston, Texas to be with the Lord on March 27, 2015. He was born January 15, 1934 in Salado, Texas. Don was preceded in death by his parents, James W. and Faye Wilson, and his sisters, Carolyn and Maxine.
Don is survived by his wife, Patricia along with his four children; Terry, Tammy, Tracy, and Taryn; five grandchildren, Trina, Chad, Brittany, Sarah and Brandon; and five great-grandchildren; Kaylin, Clayton, Krista, Cameron and Kinley.
Don was a Master Electrician and at one point in his life he had his own electrical company. He also was a Building inspector for the City of Bellaire, from which he retired.
Don was a Master Mason at Masonic Lodge Holland No. 1 in Houston, Texas and a member of Lodge No. 1101 in Gary, Texas. He served in the Texas National Guard and received his honorable discharge in July 1961.
Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm. Service will be at Bellaire United Methodist on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 11:00 am. A graveside service will be at Salado Cemetery in Salado, Texas on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 1pm.
Pallbearers will be Dave Brenchley, Brandon Cano, Chad Grimes, Boyd Davis, Curtis Campbell, and David Walker. Honorary Pallbearers are James Stewart, Gaspar Correa and David Cano.
A special thank you from the family to everyone for their prayers and support during this long difficult journey.
Donations can be made to the Shriners Hospital in the name of Don L. Wilson, an organization that was close to his heart.
