Mom, you were a beacon of light for so many. You accomplished so much and touched so many lives with your welcoming heart and warm spirit. Mi querido primo,,, mis sentidas condolencias para ti y  tus hermosas hijas,, no pude estar en presencia fisica ,,, pero mi corazon a la distancia siempre con ustedes,,,, espero en Dios poder hacerlo pronto y darles un abrazo enorme. Tu amada esposa trascendio a la casa del padre,, es una perdida que duele tanto,,, y que no termina de extrañarse la persona amada ,, pero eres un hombre fiel a Dios y el estara contigo y te dará el aliento que necesitas para seguir aprendiendo en esta vida sin ella. I extend my deepest condolences to the entire Mendoza family at the loss of my Sister Dora Mendoza.  She will always be remembered by my family and me as one of the kindest, most encouraging, and uplifting sisters we’ve ever known.  She seemed to always know what to say and/or do to calm any situation that appeared to be completely and painfully out of control!  She did this without the least consideration of age, race, or any other distinguishing factor that may have caused some to pull back.  
We love you Sister Dora and you will forever be missed and remembered by us all.



Dora and I shared gardening tips especially for plant base diets that had medicinal purposes. She always showed me what she was growing! She fought a good fight and now sweet Dora you have rest!

Le damos gracias a Dios por darnos el enorme privilegio de conocerte, de poder compartir contigo un abrazo lleno de cariño, una palabra, una sonrisa.
Gracias por cada consejo que nos diste y por animarnos en repetidas veces a continuar en el trabajo del señor, por ser esa hermana en la fé en todo el sentido de la palabra. 
Gracias por siempre acordarte de nosotros y de la obra en San Pedro de las Colonias Coahuila y de Nuevo Delicias, desde que llegaste por primera vez a San Pedro, este viaje misionero se convirtió en tus planes de cada año, gracias mi hermana Dorita por todo lo que hiciste por nosotros.
Quedamos agradecidos por siempre con usted y su familia.
Te extrañamos y Te Amamos muchoo, tus recuerdos quedarán por siempre en nuestros corazones ❤️

You were always so kind to me and welcomed me with open arms. You are a great example of a wife, mother, friend and  truly the salt of the earth and now we send our blessings to you as you go to be with our Father, the very place that He has prepared for us. May He greet you with, “Well done good and faithful servant!”. May your spirit rest on and God bring comfort, love and understanding to all of your love ones. This is not goodbye, but see you later Sister in Christ!

Dear family you remain in our thoughts and prayers. The thought of her beautiful spirit, smile and humor reminds me of the precious moments shared and spent with her at church. We love you. Me and Olivia 

D =Dora was determined, having made a firm decision and being resolved not to change it, to wait patiently on the Lord to work His will in her life.
O = Dora was obedient to God’s will. She was submissive and never disputed God’s Word like a true soldier on the battlefield.
R = Dora was simply radiant. She, literally, lit up a room with her beautiful smile and presence. She never met a stranger. I am reminded of the first time she met my elderly mom at Garden Oaks church of Christ. Mom fell in love with Dora immediately (as Dora did my mom likewise) and they continued to embrace each other as if they were a real family.
A = Dora was aDORAble (Now I understand the root word for her name). She was delightful and charming.

I will miss my sweet angel friend, but I praise God that He touched Dora, released her from her pain and suffering in this world, and summoned her to join His angelic heavenly chorus. Just waiting on that great gittin' up morning! Hallelujah! One day my sweet sister! Not goodbye but see you later, my dear friend. I will miss our communications, even across the Mississippi state line.

To the Mendoza family, please find comfort in knowing that God will provide the best of care for Dora as she rests under His supervision.

Dear Mendoza Family!

Please know and feel the love of our God and His children at this time!  She was just the best at showing love toward those as my self always!  
You're in my thoughts and prayers that you be comforted by His grace and mercy!

When I first met Dora, as she hugged me, I felt her love for God and me as she gave me a warm welcome to Garden Oaks. Her warm smile will forever be in my heart.

Dora was a beautiful and loving person. Even while dealing with her illness, she was always positive and saying kind words and giving great hugs. Dora will truly be missed, but never forgotten. RIP my dear sister. You’ve fought a good fight. Now you will get your eternal reward. 🙏🏽 Sistah Ann

What an amazing child of God. Sister Dora was a true Saint and Soldier for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

With heart felt sympathy, I'm deeply sorry for your loss.
Sister Dora, sit in a many of nights as I taught her grand babies in Wednesday night Bible class.
She helped out and expressed great ideas to help us along.
Sister Dora, was so sweet and so much fun.
I'm truly going to miss her❤

My Beautiful Sister Dora lived an exemplary life in her congregation and before her children.  She always had a encouraging kind word to say. She was always pointing others to God's kingdom. Her memories will live on. But her absence will leave a hold in our hearts as we try to fill it with cherished memories.
