Doretha Ann Little

Doretha was a loving mother and grandmother, devoted to her family and deeply grounded in her faith. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life and guided her through every season with strength, grace, and compassion. She lived her life with quiet perseverance and unwavering devotion, exemplifying the words of Scripture: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Carl R. Townsend and Sarah Phillips, her beloved husband, Little Jack Little; and her son, Gregory Allen Little.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Coleman, and son-in-law Gary Coleman; and her cherished grandchildren, Jack Coleman and Shane Coleman, as well as Shane’s wife, Tara, whom she loved as a granddaughter. They were a constant source of joy and pride in her life.

Though she will be deeply missed, Doretha’s legacy of love, faith, and devotion lives on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 2:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park with interment to follow.
