Doris Marie Erickson, 74, of New Caney, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 27, 2019. She was born in Houston, Texas on April 20, 1945. She married Michael C. Erickson, Sr. on July 10, 1986. Singing, fishing, and a love for horses were her passions.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents Juanita and Owen Frazier. Left to cherish her memories are husband Michael C. Erickson, Sr.; daughter April Stowe; sons: Michael C. Erickson, Jr. and wife Angel, William Erickson; sister Mary Lafferty, nieces Sherrie Dean and husband Lee, Kellie Burgess and husband Paul , numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and various great nieces and nephews and loved ones.
Family will receive friends and extended family for visitation on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019 in the Family Chapel at Brookside. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
