What a delightful lady Dorothy was to know and work with. I was so sad to hear of her passing but also knew she had struggled for quite some time with her health.

When I first met Dorothy and Gerald they had lost out on a piece of property Dorothy really wanted and she was NOT a happy camper. She was so annoyed I wanted to get a smile on her face. I asked a lot of questions to discover the property they had made an offer on was not one I would have encouraged them to buy. Telling Dorothy that she was a bit taken aback wanting to know why. I shared with her all the reason I felt they had dodged a bullet which made her feel much better and got that smile on her face! A day or so later we went to see the property that was to become their home. What fun they had renovating it! Dorothy had the eye of an artist to be sure. Through Dorothy and her beloved Gerald I met Lewis Tindall who had renovated the home. It's wonderful how moments build friendships and memories that become so dear to us all. I admired Dorothy and Gerald and their devotion to one another very much. My prayers to Gerald as he moves forward without her.

Dorothy was a genuinely kind and hard working wife and mom. We enjoyed her company and always knew her smiling face was right across the road from us. She had a peace and happy heart about her. She was always so genuinely concerned about Betty’s parents’ health which we always appreciated. We were blessed to know her.

So sorry to hear about Dorothy - but know that she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and God has now
wiped away every tear from Dorothy's eyes; there shall be no more death for Dorothy, nor will she ever have any sorrow, nor will she ever cry again. There shall be no more pain for Dorothy, for the former things have passed away. We look forward to one day seeing Dorothy again in heaven where we will see our friends and family members that were believers in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our deepest regrets to the family and we extend our condolences to Jerry, Christi and all the family members.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my dear friend Dorothy Ann. She was a beautiful, kind and loving person. I will miss her very much. My prayers go out to Jerry, Ken, Lisa and Christi. I know the pain you must be feeling right now. I'll be honest it will take a long time for that to pass but eventually it will get a little easier. She will always be right there in your heart and your memory. She is with her heavenly father now and no longer in pain. And you will see her again one day. Be strong.

We were very deeply saddened when we learned Dorothy was no longer with us. She will be missed by so many people, including David and me, and my entire family in Virginia. We share in your loss. I will always carry the love and fond memory of Dorothy in my heart. She was a very special Aunt, and a very loving and thoughtful person.

We love you, Dorothy. You are no longer with us, but we feel you; we see you. Your love has touched us all, and your calm reassuring presence is nearby. We keep you close in our hearts, and the cherished memory of you lives on forever.
